Hare's view of the 1016th Hash:

"It was a fine day for a Hash, the weather was perfect and so was the 4.2 Km trail (though some hashers thought otherwise, go figure, maybe they should check their fancy GPS watches...).

We went through shiggy, sand, urban and sub-urban sceneries which all left their marks on the hashers and on their shoes in the form of, well, sand, grease and Ficus microcarpa fruits. 

After running a rather lengthy first half, we joined the walkers for a rendition of "Do Re Mi" that went surprisingly well, I say surprisingly because shortly after it the heavens opened and the "Yore" (that's Hebrew for the first rain of the season) started.

From that moment on, the feeling was that we are on a slippery slope towards the end, since Head Down decided to join the runners* and, of course, because the roads were slippery...

Wet yet happy we arrived back at the circle to enjoy a well deserved beer and a request by a red headed guard to leave the premises on which we were singing and down-downing."

*He left the two book-keepers to themselves, hmmm...

Meeting time: Saturday Sept. 28th., 16:00, 1600hr, 4pm.

Location: Moshe Sharret St. Ramat-Gan. Top of the Hill near the Poet Bialik's bench. Where we started so many hashes that I can't even follow...

Maps: here's a Google Map for all of you who are coming from Ayalon (including some directions). The rest should know the way pretty well by now.

Directions:

1. Get off at HaHalacha exit, going East, onto Bialik street.
2. Go straight through 3 traffic lights -- at the 4th traffic light turn LEFT onto Jabotinsky.
3. Go straight through 1 traffic light and before you reach the 2nd traffic light turn RIGHT onto Zohar Street (a little side street). Go till the end.
4. Turn LEFT onto Herzl then a QUICK RIGHT onto Moshe Sharet street.
5. Park somewhere near the school (on your right). Your Hare will be waiting.

Shooting Blanks Fuck-Off Party

Hello Fellow Hashers,

As you may know, Shooting Blanks is leaving us in favor of his homeland.

So, he his holding an intimate going away party, or how we refer to it a "Fuck-Off". I'll let his words describe it from here on:

What:  going away bash (err...drink all of Shooting Blanks liquor)
Where: Shooting Blanks (Pete's) apartment. Isrotel Tower, Tel Aviv. 78 Hayarkon St. Apt 16-7 or 167, HERE or HERE - there are a couple of entrances. (Let the receptionist know you are visiting "Pete Jogan" or else she won't let you go to the 16th floor)
Why: Because I need some help consuming some (or most) of my liquor collection
Why 2: I'm moving back to USA! I have a few bottles I would like to share and I think my apartment overlooking the Med would be a great spot for a party
When:  Thursday 26 September  at say 6pm or so..or 7. 
What to bring:  your thirst!
What will be provided: lots of hard liquor and some beer  +  Dominos pizza   (hey, I'm a guy!)

I'm sitting here right now, drinking some "Jim Beam" I got from Shooting Blanks and he also mentioned a couple of bottles of "Van Gogh" vodka, so I can tell he means business...

Hash Trash Run #1015, Directions to Runs #1016

Hare's view of the 1015th Hash:

"After much delays from various very very late hashers (Pig Women never really arrived and ran her own private Hash), the pack met at the Strawberry  patch and took off around the beautiful shaded trails of the once small village of Ramat Hasharon. The theme of the Hash was a bit of culture - therefore a the halfway point, the pack was invited to discover the photography exhibition on Jabotinsky Road. Of course, all Hashers ignored the culture and just plowed into the trail. We completed the short but sweet hash with lots of beer, snacks and stupid songs. 

We had a lovely visit from two outsiders: PPP and Hot Clitty, two Hashers that are traveling the world doing nothing with their lives. Welcome to the HHHH."

7. Park.

Thirsty Knights Hash #69+16

Hi all!

Tomorrow evening we'll be having a "Sins before Atonement" Hash in Hertzliya Pituach.

When? Thursday, Sept. 12. 19:00 Some Beer; 19:20 Hare out; 19:30 Pack out.

Where? The little park at the corner of Hamenofim and Hasadnaot in Hertzliya Pituach Here (there is a dirt parking lot right next to the circle)

How to get there? From road #2 Here

What? Beer, Run, Beer, Down-Downs, Eat+Beer. The usual.

Why? Because we want to!

Oh, and guess what, I have last TKH3 summary! Read all about it:
"The pack was glad to welcome this week so many hashers that the circle had to be enlarged at the starting point and the beermeister sprinted to a local AM:PM to pick up more nectar for the down-downs.  After everyone's GPS brought them to the exact right spot, the pack started the run, dipping dangerously close to South Tel Aviv before the trail returned to more hospitable neighborhoods.  At halfway, the bar was too packed and no room remained for the large pack, so they found a/the Small Bar, which immediately became the Small but Very Full Bar.  After tipping the barmen generously (which probably should have been another down-down for CC), the pack decided to continue the hash in Hebrew (also probably should have been a down-down), enjoying the famous White City en route to lots of beer and an exceptionally delicious on-after at Gatropub 58.  The trail, by the way, was agreed upon to be 4.08k."

Hash Trash Run #1014, Directions to Runs #1015

Hello fellow Hashers!

Hare's view of the 1014th Hash:

"The hash started at the "HaKovshim Garden" and began by leading to the beach area. The course then took into the inner city with 12 Hashers, two being returnees. The first half of the trail had a few challenges for 8 great runners. They were motivated finding the markings often shortcutting but never given up!!!. Some Hasher felt the first half of the run was a bit longer than normal indeed!!! it was hot, but after a few cold ones the last portion of the trail was short...no big deal for the three walkers.

During the Down Downs, hashers depleted all beer coolers, perhaps after such a long run along thru the breezy beach it was well deserving. After the downs downs 6 hashers continued onto the beach finishing the day at mikes with dinner..."

Directions to Run 1015:

Meeting time: Saturday Sept. 7th., 16:00, 1600hr, 4pm.

Location: We will meet in the empty lot on Hasaraf Street in the entrance to Ramat Hasharon. Right next to a large Garden store, and next to an abandoned Strawberry Stall. (Here) If using a GPS just enter the aforementioned street.

Maps: From Tel Aviv - Hashalom Interchange. From Jerusalem - Go on Ayalon and follow the map from TA. From Hertzliya (or north)

Directions: 

If you are coming from Jerusalem, get off at route 5 going West - toward the Ocean. Get off at the intersection of Sokolow driving North - at the very First light turn Left - we will be in the empty lots about 100 meters on the left.

If you are coming from Herzalia or Haifa - go over the flyover of route 5, and get off at the Kfar Hayarok, and Ramat Hasharon ramp, turn left and left again to Sokolow - at the very first light turn left and follow the empty lots. 

If your coming from Tel-Aviv going North on route 2 - take the route 5 ramp, turn  R toward Kfar Hayarok and follow instructions as above.

If you are coming from Tel-Aviv on Ayalon -- take the Raananna exit to 5 and follow same instructions.

On-After:  None that I know of, but bring an apple with honey or a pomegranate or something...

And about the not finding the spot and all that shit; If you do get lost, just...
