Hash Trash Run 924, Directions to Run 925

Hello fellow Hashers!

We met for run 924 in the quiet yet noisy neighborhood Ezorei Hen in northern TA. A short time thereafter we began running, the run was a sweet and fun one, not too long and along some fine scenery, combined with the beer that awaited at the end, things seemed magnificent...
Well, things don't always go as planned, do they?
Some hashers complained about running in the sand (sand in the sox anyone?!) while others were busy wearing amazingly horrifying pants or hats.
Some got bugs stuck in they're eyes (no, really, bug in the eye!) and some helped the same bugs out preforming a field surgery (thank god beer is at the end...), and it wasn't EZ-Doc!!!.
Well, such wonderful hash could have only ended one way, having a beer! (or two, or three...)

Seeing as it's as close to New Years Day as it gets, we will go swimming after the run (and before the down-downs) Bring warm clothes.

After the Down-downs there's a pizza place next to us so bring some cash if you want to stay and eat.

Directions:
Go on Ayalon.
Get off at Shemaryahu Intchg. to the west (into Herzelyia).
Go on Keren-Hayesod.
At the 2nd roundabout take a left.
Take the first right.
Get into the parking lot on your left.
Find your hare.

Hash Trash Run 923, Directions to Run 924

Hello fellow Hashers!

We met for run number cmxxiii (923 for all you non-Romans) in an empty parking lot that soon was full not of Hashers but of football (soccer for all you Americans) fans going to a game. The run took us through nice neighborhoods and less nice neighborhoods, running past a lot of hoods.

At the half way we sang a splendid rendition of Father Abraham and those that didn't know the words, now do. Afterwards we ran back to the car park to the screams of Goooooaaaaal a couple of times, to find Long Horny and Christie waiting for us to open the car and get a beer. FRB was probably Fluffer, DFL was definitely Double Entry. There was a reliever, some without Hash shirts, Ika was a virgin and we had a few returnees, especially Long Horny. We wished Stiff Meat a piss off not before making him run circles around the car park to another screaming rendition of Goooooaaaaal, thus he outsmarted us all and made his 50th run, qualifying for a patch and a MUG (if Twin Peaks ever comes back to the Hash).

Norma Jean's was better then ever as we devoured our food, drank more beer, forgot to pay for Stiff Meats portion (he paid his own) and stumbled out to face another weekly grind at the manure factory.

It was unanimously voted down that seeing as the HashScribe has better things to do, that the Hare should report about the run.

Maps: From North (outside TA) \ From South (inside TA)

Directions:
Go on Namir (either direction).
Turn West onto Propes (that's right if you cum from the north and left if you come from the south).
Turn Right onto Kdoshei HaShoa.
Go another 400 Mt.
Park at the shopping center.
Look for Semen.

Don't forget, it's a holiday (well, actually it's two holidays), so bring treats, sweets,and good things to eat!

Hash Trash Run 921, Directions to Run 922

Hello fellow Hashers!

Since the Hash was pretty much non-existent, let us talk about the morning prior to the event, shall we?

At around 06:46 we awoke in our tents, not only by the sun and light outside but also from various bodily sounds cumming at all angles from our camping neighbors. I was still in a haze of sleep when I saw other Hashers sitting in their loungers already holding a can of beer (true story, people). Way to start off the day!

Morning slugged through, and it was bagel-time. Oh, did I say bagel-time - I meant "Hey Double Entry, can you try to keep the grill steady so we could have some ashes-free breakfast"-time. Was deeeeeee-lish. And if that wasn't enough, we even had some cream, juice, filter coffee, more beer, white wine, kebabs, and a screaming/panting Deliverance that would not stop threatening people with severe injury until she got a cup of coffee in hand.

In the few hours later, this Scribe wasn't in attendance. But if I assume that the same events just kept on going for the entire day, you can understand why the Hash was only about 5 minutes long - by that time, nobody really gave a f*@k.

(either that, or they didn't care enough to send some down-sowns to the Scribe)

Location: The Israel Scouts parking lot in the Valley of the Cross (Emek Ha'Matzlevah) in Jerusalem.

Directions: It's at the end of a street called Shota Rustaveli -- who knew? This is in the area of the suburb of Nayot, the Botanical Gardens, Sacher Park, and the Israel Museum. Expect something a bit out of the ordinary.

Hash Trash Run 920, Directions to Run 921

Hello fellow Hashers!
This week's run took place in Raanana as promised. Well, not all promises were kept. For example, the HARE DIDN'T SHOW UP! some lame excuse about work was brought up, but we don't care.
Thank god first time hasher, Just Daniel, took command of things and got us on the right track. Well, almost. The run that was supposed to be a 5k run turned into an 8k event that made some very brave hashers, both new and old to call it quits...
After running through the really drowsy and sleepy raanana, while Captain Caveman was trying to wake everybody up, we arrived at the park where we ran in circles, over a bridge and along green pastures, watched pelicans swim in the lake and finally got at the half way point where we Swung Low.
The run then continued, in somewhat of a Kriss-Krossy manner, through the park and through some more quiet streets, until we arrived at the circle where CC (him again!) was already waiting for us with the beer and his funny hat.
Oh, the joy of hashing...

VERY IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS FOR THE DESERT NIGHT RUN:

Ok, Here is the deal! Things have changed and all participants of the desert race need to know the following:

1. Bring your own meat and something else to share for dinner. The list of who is bringing what is listed below.

2. All runners should sign up for the race ahead of time. Contact Pro-Sport Store in Tel Aviv for the correct email address site in order to register. The phone number is 03-624-7659. Tell them you're with the Hashers.

3. Breakfast will be provided for you, however, you will be charged for your share at the camp site.

4. Wine and beer will be provided - however you will be charged at the camp site.

5. Plates, condiments (ketchup, salt, pepper, olives, pickles, pita and hummous), paper plates, forks, knives and spoons, coffee, milk and cheap plastic cups will be provided (you will be charged accordingly).

6. There must not be any misunderstanding, we split all the costs evenly on everything, no matter what you drink or use, no whining or bitching will be allowed.

7. Please understand that there are no bathroom or toilet facilities at our site. There are public outdoor cold showers near the Dead Sea (which is nowhere near the campsite).

8. The Hash will take place somewhere in the dessert. Time to be decided the Saturday morning. 25 shekels.

9. If you are coming and are not on the list, be creative and bring something in the spirit of the event. Every one should bring extra wood if they can. Also small grills.

10. We will be between 15 –20 Hashers.

warm coat, blanket, CHAIRS - we never have enough!

card table or table that breaks down - if you have one

Meat and other food that you have been assigned

Slippers or camping comfortable shoes.

Garbage bag or two, Knife - that actually cuts

Toilet paper, Snacks (to share if possible)

Sandwich or something to eat before the race, Running Shoes

Camelback or fuel belt, Gels for the run, warm socks, Baby wipes

a pair or 3 of disposable gloves - clean up after dinner is a bitch!

Change of clothes for the next day, Sleeping wear, Toiletries

Sponge - clean up again, Coolers - in the event there are no tables (as usual) we will line up the coolers to use as table and chairs

Glow in the dark night games like "Captain Caveman's balls".
