Hare's view of the Nine Hundred and Forty Eighth Hash:
The day was hot. Very hot. And continued to be hot as a small band of hardy Hashers left the parking lot of the Israel Museum and set out running (and walking) in search of something.
Something big.
Something hard.
Something big... and hard... and monumental.
It was found by the runners at the gates of the Holy City. There are those who call it "The Harp Bridge" but those who know it intimately call it "Caveman's Erection". A well-welded structure and yes, it was a pleasure to run the length of it.
After that, the runners met the walkers halfway at the Chinese Bell in Gan Sacher and Joe Button was sung. We met again for Down-downs and a light respite of beer, spaghetti al tono, olives, watermelon, wasabi peanuts and a bag of dry structured vegetable protein (recommend soaking before consuming).
The End...
So on we go to the...
