Directions to Run 854

We will meet at 5:00 p.m.in the small parking lot on Raoul Wallenburg on the right hand side (there is a bike shop and running store there - I think Brooks) BEFORE Habarzel St. Coming from Tel-Aviv you get off at the Ayalon exit for Sderot Rokah toward the Stadium. Turn right on Sheetrit and continue straight for around 2 km. At the intersection go straight but DO NOT go under the overpass, rather take the left lane and turn into the parking lot.
 
If you are coming from Kfar Saba, go on Rt 5 until Kfar Hayarok and exit there toward Bnei Brak. Take the main Rd (I think it's 482) called Moshe Sneh toward Bnei Brak. This will turn into Pinhas Rosen continue for around 5 km on this rd until you see the fly bridge going towards Ayalon Mall. DO NOT CROSS the bridge - turn let on to Wallenburg and stay in left lane and park in lot.

Hash Trash Run 852, Directions to Run 853

ATTN: Time Change this Saturday to 5:00!!!


Hash consensus seems to be that drinking before we run makes the heat less oppressive - grab a beer folks.  Crocsucker and Fart Smella took punctuality to a whole new level, arrriving 1 second before the start time.  Are you guys "parking" down the street before the hash starts?


Stiff Meat was 9/10 for checking it out.  I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm following him next week.  The first half was more like the first 80% but the pack agreed it was a good runners hash - whatever that means.


For next time: Ask to see Twin Peaks' record breaking rock!

Directions to Run 852, Hash Trash Run 851

It had been a while since the scribe had been to a hash.  Good thing this weeks started out with a sort-of-yogic stretch session.  The key to preparing for a run?  Beer, beer, beer, and a sort of half hearted stretch backwards to get the last drop out.

It was a lovely shady run, we wandered from park to park and only one hasher shortcutted.  the walkers didn't fare so well.  They gave up on finding the hash (one of them wanted to play on the playground) and had to be located on cell phone. 

At the end, Come to Soon was missing, but we soon found him coming from McDonald's with a giant bag of french fries for the down downs...  Kudos!  you get a beer for that.

Driving on Namir, turn West on Shaul HaMelech, drive past Performing Arts Center, left on Dubnov and immediate right into the mini-store parking lot.

Dear Hashers --

This week's run will start at Gan HaShoshanim on Dubnov Street, not
far from the Jerusalem Theater.
The run will include beautiful vistas, historic sites and -- if we can
swing it -- Taybeh beer. Or Carlsberg. Or Goldstar. Whatever.
The directions, as deemed fit by the good folks at Google:

Take either Route 1 or Route 443 (Kiryat Shaul exit) to the entrance
to Jerusalem.
From the Harp Bridge / ICC Jerusalem - Binyanei Ha'uma Convention Center.
1.    Head north on Yosef Herlits toward Sderot Shazar - 100 m
2.    Turn right at Sderot Shazar - 550 m
3.    Continue onto Sderot Ben Tsvi - 1.2 km
4.    Turn left at Derech Ruppin - 230 m
5.    Continue onto Ramban - 500 m
6.    Turn right at Arlozorov - 400 m
7.    Turn left at Jabotinsky - 68m
8.    At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto David Marcus - Go through
1 roundabout - 300 m
9.    Turn left at Dubnov - Destination will be on the left where Hares
