Run 715 - Goldmember Needs Retraining
It was not at all hot and quite cloudy and windy. We met at the Kfar Sava football stadium. We ran quite a lot because Goldmember has not yet been retrained to do shorter trails.* The halfway song was "Joe the Button" after which half the runners halfheartedly decided to walk the second half.** The walkers waited quite a long time for the runners, defending the circle against predatory football fans looking for convenient parking spots. We drank beer. We had Down-downs. It got dark and rainy. We went home.
 
* In fact, including her run in from Kochav Yair, setting the trail, and doing the Hash, she ran an informal half-marathon that day.
** That sentence could have been simpler by half.

NEWS FROM THE LAND OF THE PYRAMIDS
We received a message from Lager Lout and Dead Boring, reading, "We wish all our Hasher Friends a fantastic New Year. We're in Cairo & our furniture is being delivered tomorrow (2nd). We met Bastard Bob ( a Hasher from our old Cairo Hash days) boarding the same flight to Cairo as us. Coincidence or what?! Dr. D. called (nice to know we're not forgotten) (nice to know we're missed!). Have a great 2008!!!"

Place: HaKovshim Garden near the David Intercontinental Hotel, Tel Aviv
 
Directions: 
Take Herbert Samuel Blvd. towards Jaffa.
Turn LEFT on Yossef Levi St., at the Hassan Beq Mosque, opposite the the David Intercontinental Hotel. Go towards the roundabout with the fountain in the middle and make a 180 degree turn. Head back on Yossef Levi and enter the parking lot where your Hare will be waiting.
