PLEASE NOTE: It was decided to hold New Year's day run and dip in the sea on Chinese New Year, Thursday, February 7th, 2008. Save the date!

Run 714 - A Run Around Sarona
It was not hot. We ran in Tel Aviv. We met in an area awash with parking lots, yet had to pay for parking. We ran through parks in the newly renovated Templar Village called Sarona*, then crossed the highway to visit Dr. Do-little's free parking lot. What irony.** We sang "More Beer" because it is the same melody of Auld Lang Syne but the words are better and the sentiment remains the same: Wishing all a Happy New Year - Let's Make 2008 Great!

*Formerly IDF HQ, formerly Hagana HQ, and before that, HQ for the British Army who took it over after booting out the German Templars and shipping them off to Australia for being Nazi symphathizers.
** Would that the Hare had known!

"Sara and Neva are doing great, and are staying in the hospital until Thursday. Sara was born at 3:58am Dec. 26, with a normal birth. She weighed 7 lb. 14 oz. 'Su' is Turkish for water, by the way. I need to get some sleep, and the pictures speak for themselves anyway.

Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Kfar Sava football stadium parking lot

Directions:
Take Highway No. 2 to Glilot Interchange and get onto Highway No. 5.
Take Hwy 5 to Road No. 40.
Turn LEFT onto Road No. 40 and drive 6.4 km to Kfar Sava exit.
Take the exit ramp onto Weizmann and drive about 1 km.
Turn LEFT onto Derekh ha-Po'el and head toward the football stadium.
Turn LEFT and look for the parking lot where your Hare will be waiting.
