Hash Trash Run 709 - Directions Run 710

Run 709 - FFS's Anagram Quest
It wasn't hot. We had a Quest entitled The Hashenteering World Championships. We divided up in pairs and ran with maps of Herzliya Pituach*, looking for letters to spell out a message. Most of us never found all of the letters. We had Down-downs. The anagram message was "Farewell Friends" because Fer Fox Sake is leaving. We drank beer. It got dark. We went home.

Approach Old Jaffa (Yafo) to the roundabout (traffic circle) in front of the Clock Tower.  About three quarters of the way around the circle bear to your right onto Mazouk & Azar, a one-way street.  Follow it straight through the traffic light crossing Sderot Yerushalayim.  The street becomes Derech Shalma. You'll see an AM/PM sign on the left and a McDonald's yellow arches sign on the right. Go straight about 150 meters to the next light, which is usually only blinking off and on, and turn left.  No street name here (that I could see..).  There's a funky yellow building on the right corner of Shalma at the light.  When you turn left there's a Tata Motors sign on the righthand corner wall and a stenciled "ELNINO" on the wall below.  Follow this short road to the end (less than 100 meters) and cross Poyira St. continuing straight and onto a dirt lane (look for a dumpster on the right when you enter) which will take you into a dirt parking lot and bear to the right and up.  You should also be able to see the steeple of the Immanuel Church straight ahead.  Entrance will be marked with an "HHH".  Look for other Hashers.
