Run 711 - Pottering About the Persimmon Patch

It was just after the rain and wasn't hot. We ran through a lot of shiggy in the fields of Rishpon. We lost the trail in a persimmon tree grove but found it, eventually. We had Down-downs. We drank beer. We gave Dead Boring, Lager Lout and Pussycat mugs and t-shirts, because they are leaving. It got dark. We went home.

A FAREWELL TO TRUE H4 HASHERS

The billiards n' beer send-off for pool sharks Lager Lout and Dead Boring was very successful -- in that we got our butts kicked and had a great time doing it (or having it done to us...). On a more somber note, we are losing two members very central to the Holyland Hash House Harriers. This is no small loss, to put it mildly and Dr. Do-little perhaps put it best in the following message:

"A Farewell to TRUE HASHERS of THE HOLYLAND HOUSE HARRIERS: LAGER LOUT" , "DEAD BORING" and "PUSSY CAT",

"They started running "WALKING" with the Holyland Hash Harriers more than six year ago! And have been with us over for 200 RUNS!! Their first Hash in Israel was in Zion Square, Herzliya Pituah. "Dead Boring" was somewhat overweight and smoked heavily. "Dead Boring" changed after some time to a non smoker and became a serious RUNNER. He has competed in many local races - 10k to Half Marathons not to mention completing 3 Marathons, Athens, Paris and Rome. And was often the FRB !!

"Lager Lout" managed during this period, ONCE to RUN a second half and to run one or two times during the Hash chasing after Socks, their dog.

"Pussy Cat" which was a regular Hasher until last year, now a teenager discovered that their where better things to do on a Saturday afternoon than to go to the Hash with her parents.

"Lager Lout" and "Dead Boring" have held many positions in the Holyland Hash including BEER Meister, GM, RA. RSA, Hash Scribe, Hash Cash etc. "Lager Lout" and "Dead Boring" put forth a lot of effort into making our Hash Weekends a success.

Thank you for every thing you have done for the Holyland Hash on behalf of all the Hashers including the Hashers who have left the country already.

Wishing the three of you all the happiness and health in the world and for "Dead Boring" success in the new job!!
