"The joint Holyland HHH / Looney Moon Oktoberfest Hash started out in fine style and, as per usual, quickly went downhill from there. The trail was deemed "shitty". Big surprise. The theme being Oktoberfest, Hashers came in theme costume: Deliverance and Pig Woman duked it out for best Beer Fraulein, Gonadfather turned up wearing an antennae in a loose interpretation of German telecom giant Telefunken, Caveman wore suspenders and Boston Creamed a bear hat - an excellent choice given that the weather turned cruelly cold and windy. Following Down-downs with some excellent new songs, courtesy of PLM, we ended the evening at Jerusalem's First Station and the Landwer Cafe whose idea of the German beer festival is apparently that of Oktoberfest between the wars.
