An Alphabetically Challenging Hash

Assembled together for Holyland Hash fun
Beautiful was the weather for an afternoon run
Circle up! A surprise: No rules save for one.
Don't look for Hash marks -- ABCs and you're done.

Ever up for the challenge, we set out on our hike.
Fer Fox Sake, our hare, rode on-on his bike.
Grouped men versus women, who don't think alike.
Hounds male found the first letter -- "P" -- as in "psych"!

Intuition's a feminine trait, that is true, but it's
Just not reliable when a trail you pursue.
Knowledge of map-reading's best going through.
Ladies' longitude, latitude -- it all went askew.

Manly men soldiered on through Hadar Yosef fair.
Nudged on occasion by a driving-by Hare.
One of their number to the bush did repair.
P again the operative letter, though no letter was there...

Quick-stepping walkers were on hot the trail.
Ruthlessly erasing each letter's detail.
Sabotage so that the others would fail.
Twin Peaks intervened and let justice prevail.

We finally made our way back to the start.
Xhausted but ready to tot up the chart.
You'll find the point gap wasn't so far apart.
Zealous guys-355, gals-320. In all: 100% heart!

DIRECTIONS TO RUN NUMBER 656

From Herzliyya: Route 2 to the Gelliot Junction, Turn left (of course) to Route 5 towards Raanana/Ariel. Exit off at the Morasha Junction - Route 4. Stay to your right towards Jerusalem/Ashdod. Follow Route 4 past the Coca Cola Company and a Paz Gas Station (on right) and Exit off at the Bar IIan/Aluf Sadeh interchange. Stay to right and follow signs to Bar Ilan/Qiryat Ono. At the first light, make a RIGHT and then your first LEFT on to Ben Gurion Street. Straight through 1 traffic circle and 1 traffic light (pass the Army Recruitment Center on right) til the end. Make a RIGHT on to Levi Eshkol Street. At the first traffic light, make LEFT on to Hamaagal Street (Green sign SAVYON). Straight through traffic circles and at the third traffic circle - LEFT to the shopping center parking lot.
