THIS WEEK... DOWN-DOWNS FOR BOTH RUN 734 AND 733 BIDDING A PROPER FAREWELL TO OUTRIGGER SCROLL DOWN... DOWN... DOWN... Run 734 - Whole Wheat Run It was hot but not unbearable. We ran across HaHalacha Bridge and headed into the park. The whole wheat flour blobs were very healthy but hard to see. Dr. Do-little found it hard to short-cut, due to topographical challenges (the river). The halfway song was Father Abraham. The second half took us into the the wilds of Ramat Gan and then back along the urban landscape that is Abba Hillel St. to the circle, where Down-downs were held. The run was deemed "predictable but scenic".* We were offered Russian Bride's home-brewed ginger beer**. We drank regular beer. The sun continued to shine. We went home. * Ha. ** Slow thinkers: Why did we let him pour it on the ground and not pour it on his head?
